Studio A was the first studio built for Castle Oaks Productions. Designed in 1984 by Vincent Van-Hoff (Conway/Village) it took into consideration monitor imaging and extended visual interaction between engineer/producer and artist. In 1994 2 new isolation rooms were built specifically for containing brass and growing guitar setups along with an enclosed drum booth which more commonly is used for Saxophones and Vocalists with its 180 degree field of view. In 2007 Castle Oaks underwent extensive renovations in which Frank Jones Jr. Franklin Jones III and George Augsperger constructed an iso specifically for the studio's Yamaha C7 Grand and an adjacent room to house our immaculate Hammond C3 Organ while still allowing for excellent visual communication with both the control and tracking rooms.
