The Dubbing Stage at Castle Oaks Productions was Designed by Frank Jones Sr. and Franklin Jones III with consultation by George Augsperger in 2007. Designed specifically with surround sound mixing in mind it houses a JBL 5.1 THX certified monitor system with a suspended subwoofer to prevent resonances and preserve low frequency reproduction accurately. Primarily envisioned for the purpose of dubbing for motion pictures and television it has also frequently been used by mixers for surround sound reference in production of SACD and DVD-A material.
